ICE WORLD LAVA WORLD: An infrequently-updated and utterly inconsistent waffle-house of video-game-related nonsense from the brain, spleen and other organs of Tim Furnish, a software developer and misery based in the UK who's used his clearly-not-as-precious-as-he-figured-it-was spare time to create interactive electrotainment about stupid wildfowl, science-fictiony space kidnappings and, most recently, everything spherical he could think of. And he wrote it all just for you, because you mean the world to him.

Stop-Motion Musical Detective Adventure Games

You heard me.

The genre of Stop-Motion Musical Detective Adventure Games is sadfully malpopulated. At the last count (performed by myself) there were around no games matching that description. This is a shame. But you can stop the shame. Granted, as I'm writing this you only have 33 hours left to do so. But do so you should!

Head over to the Dominique Pamplemousse crowdfunding page experience to submit your moneys and/or try the demo and/or read all about the thing in question to prove to yourself that I'm not making it all up.

Hello again! Have some things to watch

Has it really been over a year since I posted anything here?

Yes. Yes, it has. And that's because I was halfway through a lengthy post about something else Out Of Order related and wasn't entirely sure how to wrap it up. A few weeks went by during which I'd occasionally add a little more and still not finish it, and then 14 months went by during which I did absolutely nothing to it.

That's despite the fact that I could have written here about other stuff. So I've now scrapped that half-finished post - didn't even read it - and am back with the intention of never writing anything here which takes more than one sitting to complete.

For example, this post is now complete. Almost! It wouldn't live up to the title if I didn't share with you a few videos. So here you go, in case you've not seen them: how to get a big score in Ballpit and an Easter egg in Out Of Order.

So - did you miss me? Should I write more huge retrospective post-mortemy things about Out Of Order or am I right to pack 'em all in? What do you reckon? Has anyone even read this? Helllllooooo?

Ballpit v1.2 Is Now Available!

Well, would you look at that! As soon as I write a post mentioning that a new version of Ballpit is about to become available and it actually does. Version 1.2 is now yours for the taking. If you've got Ballpit on your iMachine already, just update it using the App Store. If not, (a) why not and (b) you can get it from here for a few of those pennies that you've got nothing better to spend on.

What's new? How about 7 new accolades, bringing the total to 40; Game Center support (accolades now turn into Game Center achievements and scores are posted to Game Center leaderboards); a few graphical fixes and extra effects, and a message-of-the-however-often menu option going by the name of Ballpit News. And that's not even everything! But it's nearly everything, and the other stuff is minor stuff. So there you go.
